I don’t know about you, but this is something that i found to help me to manage my fruit and veggie serving sizes:
1 serving is:
- 1 medium sized veggie or fruit
- -> a banana, apple or carrot
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) raw, cooked, frozen, or canned veggie or fruit
- -> scoop of peas, small bowl of sliced peaches or grapes
- 1 cup (250 mL) green salad
- -> a small side salad the size of your fist
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) juice
- -> a small glass of orange juice or 1/2 tetra juice box
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) dried fruit
- -> a small box of raisins
